Supervision Formats

  • Individual Supervision
    Personalized one-on-one sessions focused on caseload review, clinical reasoning, and ongoing professional development.
  • Group Supervision
    Small, supportive groups that foster peer learning, collaborative reflection, and a sense of professional community among clinicians who value shared growth.
  • Ad Hoc Consultation
    Designed for clinicians seeking situational or short-term consultation — for instance, around ethical dilemmas, risk management, or complex client dynamics.
  • Teaching & Training
    Beyond clinical supervision, Avril teaches and facilitates workshops on clinical supervision, trauma, perinatal and reproductive mental health, and relational practice.

Credentials & Eligibility

Avril Ferguson is IFS (Internal Family Systems) Level 2 trained and is currently working toward full certification through the IFS Institute.

She is also trained in EMDR (basic training), holds a Certificate in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and integrates a trauma-informed, relational lens across all areas of her supervision and clinical work.

Supervision hours with Avril may be eligible toward professional registration or continuing education requirements, depending on each clinician’s regulatory body.
