Our in-person office is located in Simcoe, ON (Norfolk County). We are accessible via video or phone to anyone living in Ontario, Canada.

Your therapist will treat sessions as confidential. This means you can trust them with information that may be personal or embarrassing.

Please note: To protect privacy and maintain PHIPA compliance, we cannot accept public testimonials or Google reviews that include personal health information. For confidentiality, please share your feedback directly with us through the channels provided.

Complaints

If you have a concern about your care, your experience, or any aspect of our services, we encourage you to bring it forward directly. We take all complaints seriously and view them as opportunities for reflection, repair, and improvement.

What to Expect

  1. Initial Contact: Send your concern to admin@norfolkcountycounselling.ca or directly to avril@norfolkcountycounselling.ca(Clinical Director). Please avoid including personal health details in your initial message — we will connect with you privately to gather any necessary information.
  2. Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your concern within 2–3 business days.
  3. Review: Your concern will be reviewed confidentially by the Clinical Director. If needed, we may reach out for further details.
  4. Response & Next Steps: You will receive a response within 10 business days, outlining any next steps, possible resolutions, or follow-up actions.
  5. External Options: If you feel your concern has not been addressed to your satisfaction, you may also contact the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or another applicable professional college. Contact information can be provided upon request.

Our Commitment

  • We will not confirm or deny anyone’s status as a client or supervisee in any public forum (including Google reviews, social media, or other platforms).
  • All feedback is managed confidentially, respectfully, and in compliance with PHIPA and Ontario law.
  • Our goal is to ensure that every voice is heard, and that your feedback — whether a compliment or complaint — leads to meaningful reflection and improvement.
